Overview

A swarm sortie that goes wrong is expensive several times over. Rehearsing it costs nothing but an afternoon, provided the rehearsal behaves like the aircraft.

This simulator flies a fleet on the same flight software and the same control station as the real system, so the procedure learned in the classroom is the procedure used on the range. Formations, destinations, releases and recoveries are all exercised, and a scenario can be replayed for debriefing.

Each simulated aircraft runs production flight software, including arming checks, mode changes and failsafes.

Link loss, a lagging aircraft or a low battery can be introduced so crews practise the response rather than reading about it.
