Overview
A small drone is hard to see, hard to hear and cheap to replace. Defeating one starts with knowing it is there, which is a sensing problem before it is an effects problem.
The system combines radio-signature detection with sensors that confirm what has been found, builds a track, and offers the operator a defeat option proportionate to the situation. It mounts on a mast at a fixed site or on a vehicle for a moving position, and reports into the same picture the rest of the force is using.
System qualities
01 / 04
Detection before defeat
Radio signature gives early warning and a bearing; sensors confirm and classify. A defeat decision is made against a confirmed track.
02 / 04
Proportionate response
Several defeat options are available to the operator, chosen against the threat and what is behind it.
03 / 04
Moves with the position
The same system mounts on a mast at a static site or on a vehicle for a position that relocates.
04 / 04
Into the common picture
Tracks are published into the same awareness picture the rest of the force is using, rather than sitting on a separate screen.
